The stats of rankings are so skewed it's pathetic. Bottom line is agencies don't have the manpower to scout every player nationwide. Speaking with a buddy of mine yesterday evening at dinner we discussed the flaws in the system. Powerhouses like Alabama, Florida, etc. have manipulated the numbers. How do you explain a two-star player magically jumping to three or four following being offered by one of them. They say, "Damn! If he is being offered by Saban, he must be great. Let's move his stats up even though we never saw him."
30% of recruited players are never once scouted live by someone. For instance, this year, a DE from Houston HS (Houston, MS) was a one-star nothing. After a camp hosted by Mississippi two years ago, the Rebels' coaches jaws dropped and offered him a scholarship and $30,000 right then and there. They just asked him to keep it quiet. Next year, he attends the Miss. State camp and they say the same thing, only less money. He signs with them without any public notice due to the bias of the system.

I think there is no question who the most talented team is. Bama's recruiting is scary good
Meh. Lsu is the most talented team this year. The line between 1-10 is minuscule due to other factors like: experience, coaching, biases, etc..

You're serious?
