Why is everyone so stuck on Lane frikkin Kiffin? LSU can do better. Do we really want another Miles/Cameron buddy-buddy type relationship between HC and OC?

I don't. I want LSU to go and find an OC that will teach and challenge the players to compete at the highest level. The problem with Alleva, Miles, Cameron, Peveto is that everybody is too damn comfortable.

Brennan was all in for LSU and was recruiting Akers and others to come with him. My vote is to try and get Riley or Brian Lindgrew. If you don't know who they are go watch Oklahoma and Colorado offenses play.

Lane is the name that has been talked about the most by the media.

i don't care who the OC is or who the QB is. just find one of each and let's start winning again.

I like Riley's offense, I'm surprised he isn't talked about more.

I also find it hilarious how some people are brushing off Myles reopening his recruitment because "he's a pocket passer and he doesn't fit what we want to do now." Just yesterday people were saying that Etling should still be the starter next year over a more mobile option like Scott. Make up your mind people.

Well then all the tea leafs are saying you are about to be severely disappointed. Just a heads up it A'INT a coincidence that we offered Tua yesterday. That screams we are hiring Kiffin, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to make that connection!

I'm more worried about sanctions if we have Kiffin here.

(And my phone tried to autocorrect Kiffin to Nuffin. Quite appropriate.)

Briles and him are my top choices

We WON'T have Cam Cameron who was a travesty IMHO. Give us Ensminger, Kiffin, anyone but CC...

Have you not paid attention to Alabama's offense the last 3 years under Kiffin? Productive and unpredictable play calling.

He's taken first-year starting QBs each year and led them to the playoffs, a NC, and now an undefeated season (this year with a true freshman).

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Would be a home run OC hire.

Kiffin isn't developing quarterbacks, he isn't facing much adversity because of bama's d. He left Tennessee high and dry because the USC job came open, which he was fired for at the airport. I haven't seen anything particularly impressive about bama's offense. In fact, the LSU game play calling was down right atrocious for Kiffin.

We just finished with the buddy-buddy HC-OC situation. Don't need that again especially since Kiffin was O's boss at two different places. Bad dynamics there in my view. And Kiffin orchestrated that whole Janzen Jackson BS on signing day. Never have like him and don't want him here. LSU is bigger than any one coach. Plus Joey Freshwater said Kiffin's wife said he's a douche. So that too.

I like Lincoln Riley for the most part, he does frustrate me at times with his play calling when I watch OU though. There are time that he seems to completely abandon the run and OU has 2 stud running backs.

I like both guys you mentioned and I don't think kiffin is coming. Right now nothing is happening kinda familiar huh? This is beginning to look like another coaching search where big names are talked about but the reality is nowhere close. Don't be suprised if we strikeout again.
