Lil' Nickie is a card shark, and a good one at that.

Let's call it like we feel it, and how we honestly see it. Miles will more than likely never beat Lil' Nickie Saban and Alabama again. Call it what it is.... Saban is usually more prepared, has more mojo, better players, the SEC office and/or refs on his side. The deck is stacked and Saban is a card shark. He counts cards. He is over qualified with his experience and age (63) to coach any team in college football. He will probably coach for another 10+ years and will go down as the greatest coach in the history of DIV. 1 NCAA College Football. Like him or not he is arguably already in the top 5 of his profession. Lil' Nickies greatness will eventually cause Coach Miles to be fired or to "resign" after about 8 straight games of losing to Saban. Before you say "that ain't gonna happen", it's 4 games and counting and will be 5 next year because LSU plays at Bama next year. The sad part of this story is that Miles will exit LSU for the for the same reason that the winningest coach in LSU history (McClendon) left........ They both couldn't beat the BEAR. The BEAR that is named NICK SABAN. Better than average is becoming the norm for LSU. How long before most fans DEMAND that they want a team that is more than "better than average?" Yeah, wait till next year.

Meh, he was 50 seconds from losing and Miles got exactly the game he wanted. He played Nick like a violin....

Lots of parallel between Coach Mac and Coach Miles....

Can't beat Bama on a consistent basis

Seen this a lot. My question for the board is which coach or program can beat saban and bama consistently?

It don't matter. LSU should if they are wanting to be elite. NO BCS bowls since when?

It's comical that you and some of the others on here are giving saban credit for that win last night. He got his shite handed to him for the entire second half, and only LSU's own mistakes and a couple of rough calls allowed bama to win this game...it's that simple.

It's no different than giving Miles the credit for the Florida win is it? A dropped TD by the Florida guy who was wide open? Really? Miles is a lucky and good SOB.
