If LF7 returns to early season form and has strong performances against Ole Miss and ATM, can he realistically regain enough ground in the Heisman race to still have a chance? (I realize this is without JDM44, dependent on O-Line play, game plan, etc.) If this were to happen, how would it influence your opinion of CLM and the current coaching situation?

Lurker for 5+ years and finally joined. hopefully don't get grilled.

He has been just as good the last two games. He hasn't had anywhere to run! Maybe the O-line returns to form, but i doubt it.

Pistol formation with lots of motion was so effective.

We don't run Henry a lot against weaker competition. We usually use these games to work on areas of weakness. Earlier in the year, games against Middle Tennessee and La Monroe were used to get our passing game into rhythm and test our quarterbacks.

Henry was 18 for 95 against MTSU and 13 for 52 against La Monroe.

I expect about 20 carries for him tomorrow max.

As for the scheduling question, we always schedule a cream puff the week before Auburn. Charleston Southern is 9-1 and just knocked off the #1 ranked team in FCS. Them and McNeese are gonna be about as good as you're gonna get from an FCS school on the schedule. A lot of the upper tier FCS schools don't schedule FBS schools because they don't need the money and don't want the losses (Coastal Carolina, North Dakota State, etc).

I think he ends the regular season with better stats than Henry. After the SEC championship it will be Henry's trophy. It sucks because Henry will have 2 games on LF.

It would take Derrick Henry and Ezekiel Elliot having the kind of days he had thelse past 2 weeks. It ain't happening.

Both guys are statistically worse than Fournette after those performances by LF. He should have been given the rock more against Arky. They should have screened passed the hell out of Bama. He'd still be in front if those 2 things were done.
