Lots of people talking LF back in the heisman conversation after ole miss performance. Just like last yr tho......it all hinges on what he does against bama. So dont rush to judgement yet. Personally i think it would be a shame that one of the best players in cfb in a generation might go through his career without even an invitation to new york. He deserves it.

He would need a Derrick Henry vs LSU performance from last year.

I agree. the best thing that can happen to him to get an invitation (win or not) is rushing for over 150. missing those games will hurt him no matter what.

the Heisman is way overrated imo. there is no such thing as the best player in college football.

I think the only way LF has a real productive game is that our OL gives Etling time to make plays with his arm which will open up the running game. our OL is still a work in progress pass blocking but they are road graders in the run game.

You're 100% right. Look at last year: far and away the highest odds to win the heisman. It wasn't even a question.

Bama game happens, and not only did that die, but somehow, the conversation flipped over to Henry being the best RB in the nation. What?? He rarely was even mentioned in the Heisman conversation before that game, but when they see them both on the field, they flipped over.

Rant over, but I agree. Needs a standout performance AND sour D needs to be very stingy on their RBs.

Hopefully Zeke gave him some pointers after the game on how to shred a Bama D.

If LF continues where he left off against Ole Miss the rest of the season, he'all at least get invited to NY. Last year going into Bama game, he was the overwhelming favorite to win it but stumbled along with the rest of the team after Bama. IF he performs like he is capable of AND LSU runs the table, I guarantee you a potential playoff team, SEC champion LSU will have someone in NY.
