Leveling the Playing Field - Next Step?

First - get rid of Les (check)
Second - hire a competent OC (check)
Third - ?
IMO, we have to show that we're making a good faith effort to compete for championships. We haven't shown that since '11 all the while Bama has. The HS coaches in LA may love LSU but they also love their kids. They want to see their kids have a chance at awards and hardware. And I lay the blame at the feet of Les Miles.

We did that before Les turned this place into what it is right now. Right now Bama is the shining city. We have to take that back again before we land all the recruits people assume want to come here.
Funny seeing people say we "let" recruits leave. We don't "let" recruits leave. They have options to play where they want and until we beat the best and prove we belong, they go to who they think is the best.
This year is about getting the guys here who really want to be here, getting them ready, and restoring order in the SEC. It's time. I'm ready.

This is what I was getting at. I think the prospects and coaches and people of LA need to see that we'll do what it takes to beat Saban. The talent is available. Time now to do it.

The first step is realizing we play 11 teams each year, not counting the bowl/sec title games.
The Second step is admitting you are jealous of Alabama's success.
