This. You people are fricking idiots. You bitch about Rollins and Rantz, then you hear other teams' announcers and suddenly realize they aren't so bad. Mascona is great at what he does. He will move on to bigger and better things at some point because of it. Because of our local talent and ratings, ESPN allows us more local air time instead of ESPN shows. You people bitch about everything. Disagree with some of his takes? Sure, that's what this is all about, opinions. But calling him a hack? He's probably the best BR has ever had. He holds the primetime slot over the vets, Hanny and Ott. That should tell you something.

This right here is what most are missing.
Bullpen hasn't been good all year, hitting carried the team. It's who they are.
Well last weekend and lastnight. The hitting hasn't been there consistently and too many are being LOB.
The team has cooled off right now, let's hope they can heat the bats up again or Omaha may not be in the cards.

Maybe, maybe not but he goes on and on about how he doesn't come on here and hasn't in over 10 years. A few years ago someone on here were trying help little boy who had health issues and was a big tiger fan. I sent the information to him because I know he is involved with helping kids after the situation with his son. He claims he never looks at this site, I think he is full of shite as is every other media member that makes this claim. So if what you say is correct it would be ironic that they would whack a thread critical of him.

100% correct. He is lucky he has the prime spot during rush hour. If they were smart they would put Hanny and Ott from the 4-6 time slot and maybe be scona to the 2-4 slot.

Have you people heard some of the idiotic, unprofessional tripe that passes as sports talk radio in other SEC markets?
Lots of them are caller-driven, too, because their whole shtick isn't being prepared and offering informed and measured opinions -- rather, they think good talk radio is defined by stirring things up and yelling out controversial opinions.
Look at Finebaum's show. Elsewhere in the country, people look at Finebaum and his fan base and go "WTF?!"
Moscona could easily move and be successful in a larger market. But he loves LSU and Gordy takes care of him, and I suspect the situation with his son compels him to not want to uproot the family.
I enjoy listening to the guy even when I don't agree with him. I've heard sports talk radio in lots of other markets and, believe me, Baton Rouge and LSU could do much, much worse.
