When an OP reports news and states an opinion, Is your up/vote on the opinion or the news being reported?

So would you say most people on the rant want PM to stay? We have no idea what the feeling is. Same for lots of other things. I just would like people to realize they are agreeing or disagreeing with the OP's opinion - if one is stated.

Just being on the RANT qualifies for immediate psychological evaluation IMHO. As for up/down vote: an up vote requires NO response besides +1. Enough said. However, the down vote (IMO) should be followed up with some sort of explanation. I enjoy the +1 b/c it brings a smile to my face knowing there are actual real people out there that I agree with from time to time. The RANT rocks! +1
