be starting? I know some of you think he should be reinstated, and don't think it will be an issue. I myself have a very, very bad feeling this could lead to trouble among the team..You have 19 and 20 year olds, much like on this board...not a lot of wisdom.....

So are there any posters out there that actually think JJ should start? Just curious.

Jefferson should be reinstated. Absolutely.

And he should get some snaps in the red zone.

He is third string at best right now. Wish he would just force him to redshirt.

Redshirt. He will mess up the chemistry that the team has this year.

Why? Do you actually know where LSU ranks in the red zone, nationally? Probably not, if you say this.

Why do people keep saying this? He only scored 4 touchdowns last year. Most of those were bombs actually. So don't really know what that has to do with the red zone.

yes...i saw all that intelligence with all the head shaking and thuggery on the field the other night. There are a lot of intelligent guys on that team. There are also a lot of them that are not so much. If you don't believe this....then ok.

I don't think that there are many if any who think he should start. BUT, most sane people realize that there is a good chance that Lee could get hurt and have an *experience* backup would be an asset to this team.

I also think that JJ offers a wrinkle that opposing defenses have to prepare for so it it beneficial to LSU if he can come in an perform well.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Once he starts practicing again and is in game shape, he can do mop up duty. But Les should let Lee know that his position as starter is not at risk. It's Lee's team.

This times a bazillion, unless someone knows a higher number. And I have been very consistent in saying this since 2009 during the sackfest season.

We don't need him in red zone, we don't need a change of pace QB and we don't need his running ability. What we are doing is working.
