I just hope for 2 things:
An OC that knows how to develop a QB. Likely a younger guy/college level coach.
An OC that will be on the sideline. I want an OC that will be field level and can talk to the O and QB face to face
This is what people just aren't getting: IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER.
After last night, Miles is not going to change ONE THING. He doesn't have to. He's bulletproof at this point.
And assuming he does shitcan Cameron, what do you think will really be any different? We've had 5 (count 'em 5) OCs in Miles' tenure at LSU...and the offense continues to stagnate. The common denominator is Les Miles.
I can only hope that in surviving this, Miles burned up every bit of political capital he had built up. It'll be far easier to get rid of him after another mediocre season next year.

Well unless Miles has it written into his contract, Alleva and the board can select whoever they want and Les can quit if he objects.

Not sure Baton Rouge is a good atmosphere for a guy with a drinking problem. Hell, Billy Graham would probably start getting hammered if he stuck around long enough.

You will not be able to get any decent coaches for these positions with a lame duck HC who very well could be in his last year. If next year looks the same as this year, I can't see him staying.
Then again, I could be wrong. Nothing could change and they may even extend his contract because they have accepted and are happy that LSU has become Moo State with more talent.

No changes are needed. LSU was able to win 9 games this year with the current staff. Why is this not good enough? You fans are horrible for wanting a change to a once in a generation coaching staff.

I don't know about Cam, but BDP can be replaced with a mannequin.

IMHO, Coach Miles sees no reason to fire any of his staff, so, I don't think he will.
