so sooner rather than later Michigan's coaching job will be open, I hate to start this but do yall think les miles is first on their board for the job, I have been really impressed with coach this year and think if we go 9 and 3 prolly will be his best coaching job since he's been here. he has his times, but I can now say I believe in coach. doubt he would leave but stranger things have happened, but the next three years we are loaded and prolly have a chance to have the best three year stretch ever! just got a feeling that he wants to pull a LeBron and bring a championship back to Michigan, and since he most likely wants his son to go there just feel like there's a chance he can leave all this talent behind and go rebuild his program that he loves. thoughts and opinions?

We'll give you a break because you're new, but 20 threads have been started on this.

Doubtful he goes. It would be painful contractually; painful for his family; and painful professionally to a coach who is getting a little old.

His son doesn't want to play for him. Can you imagine the bs you would have to put up with as the coach's son at that level? He may be interested in Michigan, but his son won't go there if that's the case. I think he likes LSU too much and he has the sickest group of true freshmen in the nation.

his son will most likely play baseball, just was talking about the chance for them two to be at that university together. but I think his love for his players down here are too strong but certainly wants his alma mater to be back up on top. if he went and did that before he retired his legacy would never be forgotten. (I hate that I started this thread but when u work everyday and drink as many energy drinks as I do u get bored as hell)

If he goes to Michigan it might be as their new AD, not coach.

Let's enjoy Les Miles while we have him. I doubt we'll ever have a coach like him again.

With that said.

Simmer down pumpers (particularly gray and hollow). It's funny to watch y'all get your panties way up in your crack every time someone mentions Miles bolting.

The man would be a fool to leave the cupboard he'd stocked up right now!

And as much as it pains me to say it......he doesn't need to leave right NOW...he's needs to see this thing thru. He's got a shot at the whole banana the next couple of years and leaving now could destroy the chemistry of the team and damage the psyche of these young players. There....I said it.

My bill will be in the mail.

It's not surprising that you support the OP. You seem to be one of the best at redundant, boring and unimaginative posts.

You're only mad cuz I called you out Gray and cuz I'm right.

I posted something positive about your boy and you crawl out from under your rock to spew some silly, petty drivel. Try posting less. Now run along little man!

Pumper? All I'm saying is LSU has a great coach [and staff] and we [TigerNation] should enjoy them while we can. You never know. Nothing fills a renovated LSU stadium with rabid fans like winning.

But let's stop and take inventory of his accomplishments. If that makes me a "pumper- grey and hollow" then color me happy!

Les Miles by the numbers....

Overall record at LSU: 95-24
Record vs Unranked teams: 58-5
Record in Tiger Stadium: 57-7
Record in SEC Regular Season Games: 52-20
Record vs Top 25 teams: 37-19
Record vs SEC Western Division: 35-12
Record in SEC Home Games: 29-7
Record in SEC Road Games: 23-13
Tiger Stadium Record Winning Streak: 22
4th Quarter/OT Comeback Wins at LSU: 21
Wins over coaches with a national title: 15
Record vs Top 10 Teams: 14-14
Record in Bowl Games: 6-3
NFL First-Round Draft Picks: 13
School Record for Single-Draft Picks: 9 [twice]
Record in BCS Bowl Games: 2-1
BCS National Championships: 1
SEC Championships: 2

The record speaks for itself. Not enough for you? Consider this....

2011 AP National Coach of the Year
2011 Home Depot National Coach of the Year
2011 Walter Camp National Coach of the Year
2011 Liberty Mutual National Coach of the Year

Count me out of the what have you done for me lately crowd.

Thanks for the memories CLM!
