This was said on College football live when referring to incoming freshman on the defense. Hopefully he will still get snaps on offense too. Obviously nothing is permanent this early on, but maybe this can settle some of the HB/DB question for him.

I really want to see him with the ball in his hands on the offensive side. He is just so dynamic. Especially since we do not have a change of pace back this season (no Ford, no Trindon, no Shep, no Speedy ).

If he's a CB he won't get snaps in offense.

Your probably right. I don't know of Les ever doing that, but maybe there is a chance. Especially while he is a FR probably not getting a ton of snaps at corner.

Or maybe I'm just holding on to hope of seeing him run the football

Good news. Les loves DBs as return men.

Les said Tre White and Brazil would get the first cracks at returning along with OBJ

This. I was trying to get some clips of my son for a highlight video, and watched almost our entire game against Loranger from last year. We held him in check on virtually every play by getting him in the backfield, the few times we didn't, he took it to the house. Incredible speed and quickness.

That is all it takes--one play to make a difference in a close game. All the more reason I hope Brazil gets a chance to play on offense.

Atleast he should get a shot at kick returns for this season.

He didn't look that fast in the spring game footage I saw.

Good. That means he'll benefit from the tutelage of Chavis, who has a demonstrated history of developing players. Our offensive player development has been nonexistent. That will hopefully change under Cameron.
