Will be interesting to see if Harris continues the momentum he gained in the spring. I know the spring game is practice, but he looked light years ahead of Jennings.

It's bad because it's evident in a talent standpoint. Harris has elite, first round talent, and you could see it during the game and on his HS tape. When you watched Jennings HS tape, you see this accurate passer who is great in the pocket and has some nice mobility. With Harris you see this dual threat phenom who has an accuracy problem, but has WR/DB type speed in the 4.5-4.55 range and a laser of an arm. You have your guy who can run your offense, but is average at talent. You also have your guy who needs to learn the playbook and the finer points of the position, but he has all world talent. The only reason why he wasn't the #1 dual threat QB (he was the #3) was because Heard and Watson were known commodities. Harris didn't get recognition till around February of last year.

If he can run the offense in the fall, Miles will go the Nick Marshall route with Harris. He won't need to drastically improve his accuracy. His talent will bail him out a lot this year. I can't see him passing for less than 2600 yards. We will go deep and we will throw the ball around 330 times.

Harris has an absurd upside. Jennings is really talented and I loved his drive against Arkansas.. but Harris just wows me when he plays.

He's gonna make mistakes though. I just got so fricking tired of watching unexciting offenses.. I'll take the mistakes if the upside is being explosive.

You were predicting Harris to redshirt a few days ago.

Does Beckwith understand that a runner isn't officially down until the MLB taps the pile?

Not that we should get excited about a TE just yet, but as much good things as I've heard about Desean Smith, is Gordon really better?

LSU isn't NOLA. TEs have to block and Gordon is better.

Yeah Jefferson seemed like a surefire starter at safety this year.

I think Les is pulling our leg with his talk....I would bet that by fall we will hear just the opposite. Eventhough I wish it were true...highly doubt it.

If you looked that far, look further and see I said, if he does beat out Jennings, then I'm all for it. I'd rather him sit a year to bulk and learn the offense, but if he's ready, let's go.
