Unreal. Even Navy passes better.

What do you base this on, out of curiosity?

I base it on facts. If you can name one SEC or National championship team in the last 50 years that averaged less than 100 yards passing per game please do.

It damn near worked yesterday against #3, who might be #1 by the end of the year.

Not with AJ at QB.

Are you predicting AJ will sustain a season ending injury next fall?

LSU will likely never win a NC with Miles. Too undisciplined.

F#ck off gumps, don't you have a payment due at the SEC office? I'm sure the refs feel they've earned it.

He mentioned Ole Miss but said we also dominated another top 5 team.

I'll grant you LSU dominated the 2nd half.

Maybe if we got close to a BCS bowl this year, I might agree. But under the circumstances...we need a passing game.

Oklahoma and/or Nebraska might have, but the game has changed greatly since then.

In the 2nd half, yes. But that didn't translate into more yards and more points.

I was pleasantly surprised that LSU was able to run on them though.

I predicted LSU would shut out Ala 17-0. Does anyone deny that if it wasn't for some easy dropped passes, a few penalties and one turnover, LSU was that close to pulling it off.

Which proves?????????

It proves that if LSU is down with 50 seconds left in the 4th they will not drive down the field and score. We are simply incapable of it. Out QB isn't capable of it and our coach certainly isn't capable of it.

Forget about the Ark game? And Les Miles and LSU would have made those 5 remaining yds for a TD even if it took a 4th down call. Ala wasn't incapable of stopping it, would have been a TD. That penalty should have been a double foul or no call. Even SI agrees.

I agree we are so young and take Bama to overtime and beat ole miss. We have a very special team! Gotta finish strong and have confidence going into next year

Better than wallowing in misery and self-pity.

We were not going to make the playoffs this season, regardless of whether or not we won the Alabama game. 2 losses, including getting our teeth kicked in by Auburn (and most of the State game) took care of that. A little over a month ago, a lot of people were panicking about going 0-8 in the SEC.

This team has improved. After starting 0-2, we turned it around with a win at Fla, something a lot of people thought wasn't impressive. Then we stomped Kentucky, a team that scared the shite out of Fla, and people thought that also wasn't impressive.

Then we beat Ole Miss, and that got people noticing. Still, the question remained- was that game an outlier? Was that, despite our turnovers, the one "good" game we would play, before collapsing?

Last night against Alabama answered that question. We lost, but we played at probably a higher level than we did against Ole Miss. That's encouraging, despite the L. We have a young team, and it's taking its' lumps, but it is improving each week. Jennings played better against Alabama than he did against Ole Miss. He was more of a threat running, and he made some decent passes (a lot were dropped) against a good defense. That was 2 of the best run defenses we just faced, and we ran the ball right at them, made them play our game. If we can do that against those two, we can do it against anyone.

I'm excited about next year. If Jennings takes the next step in development, great. If Harris can catch up and pass him, great. Either way, we're gonna be running the conference ragged next season.

After witnessing LSU's miraculous turn around from the Miss St and Aub games, none of the LSU players coaches or recruits have any doubts about Les Miles. That's all that matters, not your delusion.

I agree 100%
