ESPN is drumming this thing up to be a "Poor Les Miles" piece.

The guy deserved to be fired no matter how many of Les's friends are upset about him losing his job.

Don't blame him for getting fired. It was passed his time and I wouldn't walk away from that much money either

The excerpt they showed was so fittingly Les and the exact reason he was fired. Love the guy, but he was so delusional as a football coach. Greener pastures ahead for sure.

I hear he's a real student of the game, first in, last out, brings his lunch pail to work, and has a motor that never quits. He's the answer!

Les was great, but we clearly needed new life in the program. 2-2 with this talent was a sign it was time to go. The 2 losses weren't even to the better teams on the schedule

Miles absolutely owns you people.

He is all up in your skulls. Saban should hire Miles just to watch a certain segment of Tigers fan lose their f-ing minds.

He'd definitely win another NCCG with Saban's players that way.

That'd make two.

Well if SVP is doing the interview than it will be a big pity party that is for sure.

Hey Chrome Dome "SVP" make it quick. Could the situation have been handled better from last year to this year, no doubt. But Miles screwed this up himself with his unwillingness and down right stubborn stupidness to change. The last 3 years of his coaching tenure between the goal posts is the classic definition of insanity "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Your buddy Les was given a reprieve last year and wasn't even smart enough to try and affect change. He hung onto his friendship with Cameron "whose offensive mindset in no different than Miles" and in the end hung himself.

He had to geaux, so let it geaux!!!!

I wanted him to go out a winner too but to let him finish the season out in pitiful fashion (which is where we were headed) would have killed the fanbase and been a disservice to the players. Better to wash our hands now and try to right this thing.

I don't feel bad for anyone that has made as much money as Les has doing exactly what he loved to do. He quite literally lived his dream and was paid handsomely in the process and will continue to be paid even after being fired. I'm sick of the pitty party.

Ain't that the truth. It's kind of fascinating to follow.

I wish I had the option to literally do nothing for the next 6 years and get paid $9 million for it.

Poor big-time college football coaches. It must be so tough getting fired.

No shite!!! $125k per month!!!!!

I could get real comfy for the next nine years. Probably die of alcohol poisoning, though!
