LSU coach Les Miles is one of college football's more eccentric characters. He's as well known for eating grass and providing incredibly strange quotes as he is for his coaching success with the Tigers. Miles is as fun-loving a college football coach as you'll ever find and sometimes he just does weird stuff.
On Friday, he dressed up in full uniform as an official. Why? Who knows. Sometimes it's better to just have things totally out of context.

Damn strong referee.
Quality officiating.
imagine Les announcing penalties
"Personal foul. Roughing the quarterback. #95 had a want for malicious intent. #95 is certainly disqualified from continuing to play for victory."

Man, you literally had me with that one. That would be so awesome.

Les is definitely unique. He can frustrate the crap out of me at times. Then I look back at his quality of work and have to say " good job Les" and I really cannot explain this phenomenon.

I'm a big Les fan. Like you, I do get so frustrated with him occasionally but you, at least me, can't help but like the guy.
He's just so down to Earth and he can recruit with the best and can usually, more often than not, get the job done.

So there you have it: Les Miles, college football official. I can only assume the hilarity that would ensue if he was put in charge of the game clock.
I'm sure this image will come in handy later in the year.
