Shreveport Times

LSU coach Les Miles agreed with the idea but had not decided yet if Jefferson would speak to the Tigers before Saturday’s Alabama game.

“I have yet to approve that certainly. I just heard about it myself,” Miles said after practice Wednesday. “But I’m not against that. We’ve brought in a number of people to speak to our team about conducting themselves in a fashion off the field. And I think it’s always appropriate when people that have credibility in the room speak to your team. And there’s a lot of guys on this team that know him and would expect him to be a different guy and not involved in some of those things. I suspect that he would have a great message for his team.”

Please God NO!!!!!!!

Not the same story, GM. This is much worse. The other link is about him talking to incoming freshmen next year.

Why would Les continue to let that guy decay the program? He is nothing but trouble.

More positive proof that no matter what that dude does, is or represents, Miles will stick with him. Vous ja fricking day.

Wow, worse than the other story. If this is permitted, my support for CLM would plummet.

Party your asses off before big games and here's the address for some killer weed?

He won't let him. What do you expect CLM to say? He can't respond to that question with "frick that guy he's not coming anywhere near my team." He just didn't want to throw his former player under the bus.

If LM allows this, I will completely lose faith in his decision making ability.

Can't even imagine how that would go 'I made great decisions - and I'm still making great decisions - too bad I got caught. It's y'alls fault we lost last year'...

Need to have Jacob Hester make the speech - lay it all out there and play with heart

I might lose my mind if this smug bum continues to be involved with the program.

Part of me thinks Miles says this to not piss off his brother Ricky so he still signs here. I can't logically think of any other reason why he would want someone of his questionable judgment to give a freaking speech to the team and stay involved like this.

I think it might be ok actually. it could be one of those, " look, I screwed up my chance, don't screw up yours" speeches.

This is getting beyond absurd.

Hey les, word of advice... If you want to bring in a former player to talk to the team,,,,,, how about use a player that actually deserves and has earned respect... Idk maybe someone like Jacob Hester, jarrett lee, Matt Flynn, Rodney Reid, bradie James, or Glenn Dorsey just to name a few.

Jordan Jefferson doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in same breath as those guys.

Keep him with the RP, Cecil Collins, Larry foster, derrick Bryant and tyran mathieu..... Embarrassments.

One other thing Les - this team is not "his team". He is gone. I wish he could be more than a fourth string backup for a Canadian Football League team so he would stay the hell away.
