For the sake of discussion, let's assume Les is terminated Monday after the A&M game.

Let's assume he is hired at another school mid Dec for approximately the same salary, 4.5 mil annually.

Does he still get the full $15 mil from LSU?

Correct...My understanding is he's due the 15 Million payable over the next 8 years...Anything he makes coaching elsewhere is subtracted from what is owed him.

So he sits on his arse or goes on ESPN for 8 years then retires. Its not a bad gig if you can get it.

Thanks. If I was Les I'd take the $15 mil and negotiate with ESPN to replace Corso.

Does he have any obligation to mitigate, i.e. try to get another job? Does not sound like he does.

I don't think so.
