Miles can recruit. Maybe like no other.

He can motivate. He runs a semi clean program. He's an OK media guy.

But his Ego drives his need to be the " Mad Hatter" . Despite years of questionable game day coaching decisions he;s managed to win despite himself. He's managed to out talent most of our opponents.
He;s so many times , like the Tennessee game a few years back been an unbelievably lucky S.O.B.

But it started with his inexplicable treatment and handling of Jarret Lee last season. Putting Lee in just to take a knee on the last snap of the SEC Championship just to humiliate the kid.

The debacle last January. His refusal to play Lee in the game, let alone start him, when a blind tibetan monk could see Jefferson couldn;t get us past the 50.

How does Mile's not know the leader of his team, "kick a down man in the face" Jefferson, and his Heisman trophy candidate are toking ganja in their free time?

THen the fiasco against Bama Nov 3rd. We had better talent. THe bama QB was off his game and #10 was on his, TIger Stadium was on fire, and the game and a trip to Miami was ours. Except for one thing--the Mad Hatter has to strike with the whole nation watching.

BIzarre play call after bizarre play call--a 4th and 12 fake that had no prayer of working against the speed and reaction time of the NFL caliber Bama special teams, 54 yard field goal against the wind with a kicker that's been shaky all year long, etc etc etc in that game.

And now his Waterloo--the humiliation Bowl last night. A pee wee footbal coach would have run the ball last night on that last series for 2 lousy yards. Even if you get stuffed twice you run the clock out.

Where the F was Jeremy Hill? Did he get caught screwing Les' Girlfriend at the end of the 3rd quarter?

Inexplicable on and off the field Coaching decisions and Les is no longer winning despite himself and it's cost us dearly and going to cost and cost and cost. Cause ego and hubris are hard to shake and cast aside.

THat half wit Joe Alleva gives this man and extension and a raise?

For getting us to the embarrassment bowl?

Les woud have to give up weekly game strategy and leave that to his assistants and leave on the field play calling and clock management to one of his coordinators, And we all know that ain;t happening.

So hang on for Mr Toad's Wild Ride. The next few seasons of Tiger Football are going to be doozies.

Luck does not run out. And just so you know 85-21 is not lucky. Maybe 4 of those games were luck. It does not always go your way. 4 and 16 is lucky

I'm starting to hate LSU Tiger football fans. No appreciation for what Coach Miles has accomplished -- just a desire to hate and run him off.

Coach Miles needs to accept one of the NFL head coaching jobs and get away from the Nega Tigers. These baseless attacks on his intelligence are sure to be hurting his family, not to mention recruiting.

I look forward to watching Coach Miles win a Superbowl as HC of an NFL team.

After that brain dead contract extension,i would think his luck has about 5 or 6 years to get kick started again. Well, after the next extension he should have about 10 or 12 years to find it. think bobby b.

For whatever reason Les Miles coached teams at LSU do seem to want to make games come down to the last drive or last play. I don't know if Miles gets off on it more than beating a team by 20-30 points or what. Even teams that most people agree we should really roll it comes down to the last drive or play like Arkansas, Ole Miss etc....you play enough of those games and eventually you get bit in the butt.
