I don't think people are upset at two losses every year. It's the inability to compete with Alabama the pas 4 years that's more of an issue.

When you accept that this is the ceiling, it's tie to look elsewhere which is what has been happening.

If Saban hadn't sucked so bad as an NFL coach there would be much less of this anti-Miles BS. All Miles bashers secretly, not even their wives know, are Saban lovers. Won't admit it but yeah , they are. Now watch this as proof.

What's wrong with being a Saban lover? He changed the football team and made it into a top 5 program

Missing the point Terri. LSU fans measure Miles against Saban. No coach measures up. And tell your wife.

The quirkiness is all good when we're competing for championships.

But when we're 14-10 in the SEC (and 9-9 against the West) the last 3 years, the quirkiness gets really old.

Guess you forgot the Devils Imp didn't win 10 games here every year. I seem to remember an 8-5 record in there somewhere which would have gotten Les Miles Fired into orbit. I guess you must be young because I demand excellence just like the next guy but I also remember what bad is. And LSU has not been bad in a long time.

Are you fricking kidding?

2000-4 losses
2001-3 losses
2002-5 losses
2003- 1 loss
2004-3 losses.
In what universe is that a top 5 program? Before miles got here we had 1 top 5 finish in over 2 decades.
So please explain how a win loss record thats worse than the last 5 years under Miles is a top 5 program.

The over romaticizing of the Saban era needs to stop. He put lsu back on the right course but he didnt leave Miles a top 5 program.

And he lost to UAB. Can you imagine this board if Miles were to lose to a uab type program?

a top 5 program

At the height of his career at LSU, 2004, how did we do? Top 5? We were top 5 once. And we lost a the bowl game in 2004 in embarrassing fashion. Ronnie Prude got burned on a last second play because he didn't get the call. Saban's pride and joy were the DBs. The media gushed about how as they were leaving the field Saban was coaching Prude to the bitter end telling him how if he doesn't get the call to not let anybody get behind him in coverage. Well. Why didn't Ronnie know that before the last game of the season? His coach certainly didn't coach him up. Saban is a good coach. He benefits from the strategic advantage of where he is and how cheating is tolerated there. Whatever happened with the Luther Davis - D J Fluker money issue anyway? No SEC coach measures up. And Urban Myth doesn't count because he left the SEC because of Saban. Same thing happened to Cholly Mack and it took us 20 years to recover.

Our Australian punter didn't do so hot last year. I'd rather Les take whoever has the best leg, regardless of what 'language' they speak.

That said, the man was just joking...I think.

Right because im the one that brought up saban leaving miles a top 5 program.

Maybe you should actually pay attention before posting ignorant shite.
