My gf and I are taking a trip to Manhattan next week. Couple weeks ago I realized we would be there the same weekend as the Syracuse game. I looked up some bars to watch and Legends seemed to be the most popular choice. Has anyone in the rant ever been to Legends? I pulled up the website and the place looks higher end. Not sure it would be an ideal place to watch the game. If anyone has been, would love to know y'all's experience there and what I should expect! Geaux Tigers!

You'll have a good time. Not as fancy as it seems.

Awesome to hear! I guess my only concern should be how many of these fans will actually be at the game!

Honestly I thought it was lame. Get there early though, if you decide to go. Like REAL arse early.

I lived in NYC for two years - it is the bomb for LSU games - 200 to 300 LSU fans at each game

It's a good time. I go there for a few games each year. Depending on how big the game is, you may have to get there early to get a good seat (I doubt this will apply for the early Syracuse game).

There are a few things I don't like about the place. They have some annoying seating policies. I used to not like that it is a "nicer" place, because I preferred the more college bar feel, but there are some positives to having a "nicer" place.

Oh, and pics of the girlfriend?

What game were you there for? I have had some "meh" times.

Bama 2013. Got there 90 minutes before kickoff, and the only seating me and another person had was leaning against one of the support beams upstairs. Took 20 minutes to get a beer. Left before kickoff.

As for dress code, Are we cool in our LSU T-shirts or do i need to break out the LSU polo?

Wear whatever you want. You'll get a mix of levels of "dress up'ness"

Sounds great. Appreciate all the insight. Will definitely go check it out and post my thoughts of it! Thursday I'm going see OBJ play (Redskins @ Giants for Thursday night football), Yanks game Friday night, and now looks like I have my spot to watch the game!

We were there last wknd for Miss St. Great atmosphere. Casual dress. Downstairs they only seat parties of 3 or more so we found other random couples and all sat together and had a great time. Upstairs is a room with couches and stuff with no minimum party requirements.

The LSU Alumni Assoc of NY is putting together a trip to the game, so I wouldn't be surprised if the atmosphere will be a little more tame since I'm guessing a lot of folks will make the trip to Syracuse.

I lived in NYC for 6 years and miss my Saturdays at Legends. Such a fun atmosphere!
