Leaving FSU out is dangerous for CFB

The issue I have with this as an LSU fan is that I can easily see us in a similar situation, and an Ohio State or Bama getting the favor over us.
The rationale for keeping FSU out is flawed and illogical. You can’t say that FSU isn’t the same team, and not one of the best 4 teams compared to Bama, but then toss UGA out completely.
If I’m an AD, I’m cancelling any top 25 OOC matchups immediately since they clearly mean nothing. Your best bet is to be undefeated, and hope they don’t screw you with a blue blood.
Not an FSU fan in the slightest, but damn, I feel for them today.

We go to a 12 team playoff. A team being left out at 13 isn’t going to be as big of an uproar as leaving out an undefeated conference champ in favor of 2 other 1 loss teams.

Nah, the morons will consume anything tv and social media tell them to no matter how corrupt and watered down CFB becomes.

If the format were going to remain the same in the future, yea this would be a dangerous precedent to set.
With an expanded 12 team field coming next year, not so much.

The criteria is subjective by its definition and expanding the playoff won’t change that. The corruption will just expand with more seats at the table.
