Kelly mentioned the freshmen corners but never mentioned Welch. We are all baffled with Denver Harris but Welch not making a move is a shock. Despite a great spring and summer Outside of the ole miss game he has barely seen the field. He’s trending closer to and closer to a bust

He’s almost never talked about by CBK. I thought he’d be in the mix to start after the spring he had.

He may be riding Harris's coattails to the doghouse, who knows?

I mentioned this weeks ago and got hammered for it. Wish the kid all the best but LW is NOT and SEC caliber DB. Nothing against him, just a fact.

The reporters may be partially to blame for us not hearing anything from BK concerning Welch. He doesn’t always offer the information if nobody asks.

You're saying this based on very limited playing time.

That's not a fair assessment. I too expected to see him involved more and maybe we'll see more of him and yes, I saw him in the Ole Miss game. To say based on that and that alone, isn't being very realistic.

But saying he's trending closer to being a bust based on

he has barely seen the field
(your words)

Not trying to be rude but come on now.

How is a 4 star that had 2 torn acls in high school not playing a bust?

How is any 4 star a bust?

He hasn’t developed doesn’t matter who offered him 2 years ago

Im going to assume he will be in the mix no matter what.

BTW, who are the freshman outside of Stamps and Yates? Assuming Yates plays nickel?

Isn’t he a Sophomore? Not sure you can call him a busy at this point. He looked bad in the Ole Miss game but maybe he just needs another year to develop.

Because he isn't playing. It's open to speculation and is a fair question on a sports message board. He didn't claim to know anything. I'm sure Welch will be fine without you Knighting for him on TD

This is just a dumb statement to make. You could say your opinion is that he's not SEC caliber but he is a redshirt freshman that has really only played in one game. You can't declare anything as a "fact" with that small of a sample size.
