I get that LSU did rally, but the rally was not required to win as the headline insinuates, IMO, maybe you believe there is no confusion. It seems to me, though, that the writer wants the reader to believe, at first glance, that LSU came from behind to win, which,in fact, never happened. But he wants people to read it, so there you go.

They literally flipped the boxscore to do this. I have no words to describe how pathetic this is. They have a really good baseball program, but their inferiority complex brings them to pathetic levels I have never seen. Unbelievable.

Rally in baseball is always used to describe scoring multiple runs in a single inning when tied or trailing the opposing team. Well... almost always. Have to account for the ULL's of the world.

a late rally did lead LSU past the cajuns in the super regional. it definitely wasnt an early rally.
