I know it was a topic on here but as a fan, I’m still bullish.

Leader in Heisman Betting Odds

quote:

Currently, quarterback Myles Brennan from the LSU Tigers is leading in both tickets and handle to win the Heisman Trophy at Caesars Sportsbook. How much of a surprise is the QB? He may not even be his team's starting quarterback this season. The fifth-year senior has played in only 20 games over the last four seasons, starting just three games in 2021. He is 121-for-201 passing (60.2%) for 1,712 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions in his career. And Brennan faces competition from Jayden Daniels, who enrolled at LSU from the transfer portal after starting 28 games for Arizona State. For comparison's sake, 2019 Heisman winner Joe Burrow was 403-for-527 passing (76.3%) for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns and six interceptions. In one season.

Heisman odds from Vegas Insider as of August 10

Jayden Daniels - +6600

But we're all just wishcasting JD into the starters role per the Brennam brigade.

I was at Caesars on Thursday and couldn't help myself...put $100 on Tigers Sec Champ game winner! 50/1 I'm so positive before the season starts!!

Nice, but a better bet would be to win national championship. If LSU wins the SEC, that means they beat Bama and UGA.

No one in the playoffs would have anything for them.

If the Tigers finish 7-5 or 6-6, which seems to be the popular outcome this year for the team, Brennan will be nowhere to be found for the Heisman presentation, even if he has a record-setting year passing.
