Late guy on the field for fake punt

On the fake punt there was a third back running onto the field late. He didn't receive the snap. Was this by design for misdirection? Or was he just late?

No, CLM said they didn't have the correct personnel on the field for the fake but they went with it anyway.

Don't think so. Miles kind of alluded to the fact tht we almost screwed up the personnel.

When i watched it my eyes followed him the whole time. Almost didn't see that the snap didn't go to the punter. I would imagine that the same happened to some of the players for Wisconsin.
