This. Plenty ball left to play, and I've still been impressed with what I see out there each weekend.

You can't compare teams from year to year. This years team is clearly a notch below last years. If they get some good baseball fortune a few timely hits they will achieve simalar results. IMO This team barely gets a regional or goes to ULL as a 2 seed and adavances no further..

ETA: I read that as barely getting into a regional.

I agree if for no other reason that last season we had 8 seniors. Just 4 this season.

But I am really encouraged by the freshman on this year's team. I don't want to be one to say 'wait till next year' but this class, if they stay together, will be special before they leave LSU, IMO.

I know it was three games
I type game instead of series

This kinda proves my point
Give up five homers in one game and still win.
'09 had that refuse to loose attitude

You asked what Tiger fans have done to "deserve" a better non-conference schedule. If selling every seat in the stadium for 15+ years isn't enough to say we deserve it I don't know what does. And yes, even if it cost the program $ I'd rather see us play a home/away series against a team we can get excited about watching.

Regular season matters. You don't win enough you don't even play post season. Some of you guys really are idiots.

Ironically 7 of the last 20 winners had 17 losses, and the best record in last 20 years is shared with LSU, Miami, and Rice all with 12 losses, with the worst record Fresno State at 47-31…

Hope to See you guys in Omaha.
