Thanks. We had no idea what had happened and thought the call was odd. I mean, how often do you hear a delay call on the defense.

Lets not go here. The officials let them play and the game looked like an NFL game at times. Two very fast and talented teams played last nite, one won with a lst second FG after an 80 yd drive converting a 4th and 16. The PI on Reid was questionable for sure but he did get there a split second too soon. Our OL cost us this game and is responsible for some of that ridiculous play calln I guess. The QB at Clemson also had a little to do with the outcome, what a tough and talented big armed guy he is. He and #6 were the two best players on that field last nite.
So NO the officiating did not look bad at all on TV last night.

it was bad

clemson got away with at least 3 obvious DPIs and LSU got away with 1 bad DPI

clemson did get a DPI on a ball that was well uncatchable

that delay of game on rasco was mind-numbing

It also seemed like they kept adding time back on the clock. The head official looked about 80 years old.

To be fair, if I was 80 I'd also be trying to add time back on the clock.

-The fumble they called and incomplete pass would have stopped that Clemson drive.
This would have made a huge spot difference.

PI call on Jalen Collins was imaginary. Bad call altogether plus throw was over receivers head and uncatchable.

Roughing the Passer on Logan jumping up over a lineman to block the pass and hand came down lightly on Boyds helmet as incidental contact.

List goes on and I usually dont bitch about refs. I actually thought LSU failure to make CU burn any TO's on last offensive drive was huge mistake and game breaker.

Only thing i can figure is he was clapping and saying "hut/hike/go/whatever their snap call was" at the same time

A player in their backfield rocked, should have been called for a false start. Our player pointed it out. That was apparently a non football move.

Saw that, too. Agree, should've been false start.

But i think the flag must have been for something before that offensive player moved.

Do they not call hands to the face on QB sacks anymore? Hell Tyson Jackson used to get 2 a game. I saw Mett get hit in the head on several of those hits.

The officials were simply awful.

However, the officials were not ultimately responsible for the outcome.

Clemson outplayed LSU last night.

Yes it was blatant in your face. They were ignoring hits by Clemson on our team after the play multiple times and the calls made on pass interference were even said by the guys narrating that the calls were bad. It was as if they wanted and helped Clemson win. And do you think we have a coach who would question what they were calling on us and NOT calling on the other team. Heck no he acts like he doesn't have a clue what is going on and I clearly believe he doesn't.

LSU was flagged on 3rd down about 5 times giving Clemson a first down.

The LSU receivers were mugged all night but never a flag. When LSU faced a 3rd and 7, Clemson jumped offsides. However, the play continues and Mett threw to an LSU receiver who was hit WELL before the ball arrived. Should have been pass interference, automatic first down. However, the refs quit on the play, didn't throw the second flag, and LSU failed to convert the 3rd and 2 and had to punt from deep in its on territory.

frick you and congrats.

Clemson outplayed LSU pretty much all game. Officiating was total crap with bullshite calls against LSU all night. We have an ***** for a head coach. And we still almost won the fricking game. Props to Clemson for ekeing out the win. When you are ready to play real football all the time, join the SEC and get out of that pussy football ACC. I'd take our team over Clemson anytime.

ClemsonJ the officials were so one sided its incredible from the Reid hit, to Rasco false start?, to the multiple PI calls. I saw Clemson raping our WRs too. Why didn't lsu get those calls? And please win your conference 4 times in a decade and we can talk.

This was the play that caused me to quit watching the game.
