I really don't understand why they did not step out of bounds. Seems like the coaches would have reminded the players

Yeah, it seems like it. I don't even think our coaches understand time management 101 principles though. And they never have. So not surprising in the least.

Yet another reason I believe they do not practice 2 minute drills. It should be go, go, go and stop the clock as much as possible. fricking auto mode. The coaches should not be telling them what to do. The coaches should be silent and let the players do exactly what was (or was not) practiced.

The players were lost because the coaches require them to wait for a play to be called in. That doesn't work when the coaches are also lost.


The offense has no set plan for a TD drive with 2:00 left. Why is that?
