I think my old buddy Larry could bring a great winning program to LSU. He's been sober a while and knows the South some from a recruiting standpoint plus he is more likely to make a move compared to other names on the board.
Look him up.
Look him up.

Yup, and we have some great sororities at LSU too!
Larry Lapdance would definitely be focused on winning games more than JJ...

Might as well get John Brady back.

If your primary qualification is "He's been sober a while" then I think we can do better.

Larry's right where he needs to be, dull and boring Ft. Collins.

No my primary qualification is he is a national title caliber coach and recruiter who was derailed by a drinking problem.
His sobriety means he can once again coach at an extremely high level. He still has the fire and would be a major upgrade.

Who has 5 postseason appearances(one being the CIT) and just 1 tourney win his last 16 seasons? If anything he was a solid coach who got hot one year with Fizer and Tinsley like Mike Davis in '02.

This is the kind of outside the box thinking well need to have if we are gonna make a dramatic turnaround. If we want to go slow and build inch by inch it's gonna have to be a Rick Stansbury type. Eustscy can help us to rise fast but it's a gamble and that's the price you pay for allowing someone like johnny jones to stay as long as he has. If he's sober he's got star qualities and is worth a look. We won't find anyone his equal elswhere that can be lured to come here.

Or a 1x National COY, 2x Big 12 COY, 2x Big XII Regular season Champion, 1x Big XII Tour by champion, 2x Big XII COY, multiple big west championships, and I think he has closer to 10 post season appearances.
Also, you can ask Fizer and 'Mal and they will tell you LE got more out of them and coached them up better than Floyd did.
If it weren't for bad seeding he would have a final four and likely national title appearance on his resume as well.
At 61 I am not sure he wants to move again though.

How much of that happened since 2001?
