It was 93 and he absolutely stunk it up against Texas A$M in game 2. We came back to win thanks to Todd Walker and others. That game against Wichita St was magic. He threw 136 pitches as a freshman and never was that effective again. I always wondered if we hurt him that day. Great memory. I loved that team (Amando Rios, Todd Walker and Mike Sirotka (He was the hero of the LSU 1993 CWS)
Laxton definitely brought it in the CG and mowed WS down.
