As a kid, I worked on my uncle's rice farm. If you ever find yourself waist deep in an irrigation canal tearing down beaver dams, you'll find that beavers really aren't very friendly at all. Not that dangerous though, as a 10 yr old I was a match for a whole crew of beavers.

The story is a Banana Slug is the only known species on Earth without a natural predator. I guess that's what is considered "badass" in California.
My son's soccer team played them last year. Kicked their arse. I guess a Trinity Tiger turns out to be a Banana Slug predator after all!
