in defense and me and 69, we seem to know same thing, it s aint pretty and I (we i sasume) hope we are wrong, but dont think we are, for those who think we wont know for along time, based on seeing what I heard now posted a nmuber of places tells me soon we will know....again, note, refrigerator, ssiter...and I would add, second try...
Very disappointing if it shakes out this way.

My gut feeling is that the police spoke to La'el at the behest of the victim's family. Nothing seems to suggest their discussion with La'el was of pressing concern to solving this crime.
If this is the case and I'm not saying it is this entire debacle IS on the BRPD.

Do you know of anyone needing an alibi who is not a suspect?
Again, you're implying things that you want from things that are said. They can say he is verifying his whereabouts and him not be a suspect. I can't help it that you want to believe he's been a suspect all the while everyone says he isnt.

So if he never gets arrested do you come back and say you were wrong or do you just go back to not posting and no one holds you accountable for claiming to know something and not?
In one of my initial post, I said I hope everything I have heard is wrong, and I would gladly eat any and all crow. Still applies.

Now I know you don't know shite. His attorney said they were trying to prove his alibi the day before the draft. Do you know of anyone needing an alibi who is not a suspect?
His attorney had no reason to say that in record. It was dumb.
Why? He was connected to a murder investigation whether as just a person to get information or a suspect. People like you and many others on here couldn't care less about the truth, because you feel there is some deep, dark hidden agenda behind everything.
His agent was trying to be clear that his client was innocent and nothing needed to be taken from this police issue other than that he is someone they'd like information from.
Instead, people like you claim it to be some horrible admission of guilt or misstep. Same way you would have criticized him whether he came down immediately to answer questions or if he had just never done it.
In this type of situation, Collins was screwed no matter what he does, but you feel like there must be some other motive based on how he approached it.

Let me help you. I said I'd be surprised if he didn't leave the interview in handcuffs. Didn't say why he would be put in handcuffs, and I don't plan on sharing that.
If what I heard was true, you will then understand.
FWIW, I am surprised he is not arrested right now. Hopefully that means what I heard is false.
False? How can that be? Your drinking buddy has never been wrong before has he?

One guy has turned this thread into an abortion. Just because he wants to feel special regardless of the info he thinks he has.
Most people who know information (about any serious issue) know to keep their damn mouths shut even on an "anonymous" message board which doesn't stay anonymous long when people cross the line.

And he didn't leave the interview in handcuffs. If what you have heard is as serious as you are making it out to be, then the fact that he walked out of the interview and was not arrested seems to be pretty damning against whatever it is that you think you know.

Let me guess. He was going to be arrested for conspiracy to murder, because once he found out she was pregnant (and it was possibly his), he just blew her off once she refused to get the abortion he asked her to get, and in retaliation he hired a hitman to kill her, right?

Yup, sounds like a clear cut, exact way it happened.

I'd bet money that this guy and his North LA corroborator are one in the same.

can you share what you think he will be arrested for has anything to do with the murder investigation? Or is it something totally different?

So what's this other thing he will be charged with???

Do you know who his attorney is?
quote:
Jim accepts very difficult cases involving famous victims or the death penalty. Judges, lawyers, law enforcement officers, bankers, an athletic director and numerous public officials have been defended by Jim, including the Mayor of Baton Rouge, a major in law enforcement acquitted of eleven counts of perjury in federal court and Howard Rollins, the star of "In the Heat of the Night" on cocaine charges. In 1992 his client, a lawyer, was acquitted after a six-week federal bank fraud trial in the Judge Reggie case." He represented the young daughter of a judge caught shooting a convenience store clerk on videotape in a case the media dubbed "The Natural Born Killers".
Recently the Judiciary Commission acquitted his client, a judge, and a jury in Lake Charles gave his client a life sentence for killing his wife and the policeman who came to investigate the domestic disturbance. In 1999 he won an acquittal for a man charged with stalking a judge and in 2000 a Shreveport jury acquitted his client of killing her husband, a wife beater. In December 2000, he was awarded the Justice Albert Tate, Jr. Award by the Louisiana Criminal Defense Lawyers, for lifetime achievements. His current cases include people accused of killing three people (one pregnant) in a dope deal gone bad, an alleged serial child molester, numerous targets of the Environmental Protection Agency, a deputy U. S. Marshall accused of obstruction of justice and a bank robbery suspect wherein one eyewitness identification is the issue, men and women accused of having sex with underage girls and boys, and two judges accused of misconduct. In 2011, my client was acquitted by his jury of 2nd degree murder based on a claim of self-defense where the alleged victim was shot several times in the back..

Defense attorneys defend people charged with bad things. I'm shocked.
How many of the people/defendants you listed do you know actually did what they were accused of?

If you would have seen my initial post, all it said Collins will end up in jail, and it's because he didn't want to pay child support.
Pro-Collins attacked me for what I said, and all I have said in return is according to what I've heard, he will end up in jail.
Haven't mentioned any of the "rumors" about what I've been told. Never wanted to feel "special". Just trying to say maybe everyone shouldn't be so quick to blame the BRPD, agents, lawyers, etc. Maybe La'el is who is to blame.

So why are the police saying he isn't a suspect even after he meet with them?
Posted on 5/4/15 at 3:08 pm to ell_13
If he isn't considered a suspect why is someone saying the complete opposite?
Is someone just posting crap?
