Looks like the investment in the women's basketball program is taking a fast dive into ineptness. Old Misses is taking them to the wood shed. Lots of time left but you can't help but see how they play is notches down from up and coming programs.

Lack of a true post player is the killer for this program. Our offense is way to predictable. I don't understand what Caldwell has against Rhodes. Never see her anymore. I want to know how Bethel has a scholarship. She has zero IQ, is always out of position. She cant make free throws and make lay ups. You could find hundreds of 6 foot players with a decent shot. Hopefully Deemer and Ballard can warm up. We are struggling to make outside shots

Yes. There needs to be some changes this off season for sure. Better recruiting would definitely be the number one priority

She's an athletic "big" and she can get to the FT line. Unfortunately she can't shoot when she's there.
Gotta beat A&M to get in now. Unless Ballard is seriously hurt then we'll get left out unless we win the SEC tourney.

I wonder why she can't attract premium players? The girl that signed with Baylor wasn't coming here ever. The only player she gets is a transfer or a secind level player.

The change you say is needed may need to be drastic.

Weren't we just talking about how this may be Caldwell's greatest coaching job ever with such a big turnaround at midseason? A 1 point loss changes that?

I either have Alzheimer's or I missed that from whoever. Maybe the team is that bad and what they have won this year makes it a miracle.

Appears to me that Caldwell ? is more interested in her fashion statement than recruiting and coaching! How much does she make versus Johnny ?

To be fair she has coached her teams who have been plagued with untimely injuries to two sweet sixteens and the second round. Now, I do agree I am disappointed in where we are at. She has done a good job coaching and turning things around. That said, she needs to recruit. Rina Hill is a decent little player but by no means a starter. Bethel is a big girl, but what else does she bring? Even if she gets to the ft line she cant make any. Her recruiting has been a failure, especially this past class. I was expecting a little better. So far Deemer has been the only one to impress but our issue is our lack of post players. We have no one that is a threat inside. Someone who can score and consistently rebound. Our offense is pretty one dimensional, mainly because we do not have the players. Ayanna Mitchell will definitely need to step in immediately next fall. Hopefully we can beat A&M at home
