Lack of effort is what is most disheartening

The team just looked defeated after State's first possession in the 3rd quarter. The score was 20-7, which is very manageable, but for some reason the team just looked like they were done. Both sides of the ball.

The one exception to this was Devin White. He played his arse off the entire game, even when it was a 30 point game he was still giving it everything he had.

I don't know if it was more fatigue or maybe feeling like nothing could go right with the penalties, but giving in that quickly is what makes me sick about this game. If they played hard the full game and still got whipped, sucks but I can handle that. That wasn't the case.

Well when your head coach looks defeated it tends to spread around like a virus.

I think Darrel Williams was still playing hard late, too. Otherwise, I agree with your assessment.

LSU rolled in there and thought , " we're LSU ", the other team said " we don't care" .
