Lack of Attacking the football from WR

Many factors contributed to the incompetency of passing game, stubborn playing calling, QB timing the throw, and I can surely understand why Les called out the effort of the WRs as one of them, cause it really is. Our top two receivers, Dural and Dupre, rarely attacked the football when the ball is in the air but instead waited for the football to get to them. Call it lack of effort or lack of technique, either way, they are not helping #6 with their performance.
As a comparison, look at the first touchdown pass of UF against OleMiss @12:30, almost exact same route called for Dural in the first quarter. One being TD with another being incomplete. what's the difference? Attacking the football. UF WR jumped to the high point to catch the ball while Dural just waited for the ball to catch him.
Another comparison to one of LSU's greatest WR, Javis Landry. You wonder why he caught so many TDs from Mett? Because he always tried to attack the football, and has the mindset that no one is going to take the football away from him. Looking at this highlight of him and you will see the major difference. Catches @1:30 (vs. Bama) @2:22 (vs. Clemson) were both Fade routes called exactly the same way for Dupre in the second quarter. Why does EMU DB has a chance to swat the ball down? Because Dupre almost lost his balance in running the route and couldn't jump to the high point to attack the football like Landry did. Poor route running + lack of technique.
Dupre is a sophomore and Dural is a fourth year junior, you would expect them to at least show signs of developing in these techniques and play with discipline. Unfortunately, the only thing they learned to do is dropping the easy catch ball or complain in public about the lack of passing play called for them. They have some major grown-up to do this upcoming week or "bench route" will be the next play called for them.

MAYBE they need to actually DO something that would get them the publicity they desire?

Dural may need to sit a game, I'm pretty sure his "production" can be replaced.

Everybody on here is bashing Dural and Dupre (some what justified), but they are not the only ones who drop passes Diarse was horrible this season also. Trey Quinn only was thrown to once this season I believe and he caught it. TJ pass was well defended.
They also need to get Desean Smith and Jeter somemore passes.
