Yesterday, Beckwith told reporters in Baton Rouge that he didn’t think it was a helmet-to-helmet hit. “A lot of people think it was a head shot and he rung my bell, but he really just knocked the wind out of me and I was on the ground trying to catch my breath.” In fact, Beckwith said that he couldn’t help but laugh. “I knew he had got me pretty good and everybody had seen it, so I just had to laugh.” Ross Dellenger specifically asked Beckwith if he felt the hit on his head and he said no, that he only felt the hit in his chest.

Was gonna post the same thing. Kudos to them for stepping up and supporting a teammate, but it shows more than just that.

Its exciting to see because it shows team cohesion, protectiveness, camaraderie and swagger. I loved it.

FYI "coachdon", Beckwiths statement was such because he is a man, and thats exactly how a man handles the situation. Calls it fair play, gets up, high fives his teammate, laughs it off, and jogs off the field. The call is left to the coaches to handle, not to be discredited from a player

Also, this is exactly what he had hoped would be the response for Dillon Dbag Day with his player stomping. The Dbs brought some attitude, hopefully the dlinemen will take note of the example set for them

Lead with his shoulder, so really nothing to see. Helmet was in front of player. People need to quit pussifying the game. Only thing he did wrong was act our like a dummy, but LSU players bow up every fricking game on people after tackles and hits. Sometimes you are too close to the situation to see things.

Not when they're down 41-3.
