Syracuse fan here. We really appreciated you coming up to play and enjoyed tailgating with the fans that traveled with the team. Great representation.

Spurrier doesn't win as much as he did back in the day.
Which means he's not as threatening, which means people don't hate him as much, lol.
I heard him on 98.1 encouraging people to go to the game, he said "... and remember, when South Carolina has the ball keep the noise down."
I cracked up.

We had a great time in Syracuse! Cuse fans were very nice. I had good conversation with more than a few fans. Noon kickoff was the only part that I didn't like.

OP, if you are planning to come down here for the game in 2017, drop a note here mid summer & you will get swamped ( pun intended)with invites to tailgate & party. Plan for a nite in the French Quarter on Thur/Friday & then drive on over early Sat a.m.

I'm planning on the return trip in 2017 along with a decent contingent of SU fans. We don't travel as well as you but we'll have a good crew ready to party with LSU faithful. Kind of glad we probably won't see Fournette again, but he won the hearts of many of us. He's an exceptional young man on and off the field.
