He’s says scouts will go crazy over Caleb and Maye but Jayden could be the guy in this draft class.

I agree. Daniels made so many NFL throws into tight windows this year. His improvement has been remarkable.

Would love to see a team try and get Nabers & Daniels. I think only the Bears could do it tho

I don't see a facet of Caleb Williams game that is better than Daniels

But obviously Daniels is a better runner than CW

Williams has a slightly stronger arm, and obviously has bigger size, but that's about it.

Not sure if he did it this year, but he usually gets his nails painted with "F***" and the opposing school's name for games

The one hesitancy I'd have with Daniels is his hesitancy. He doesn't throw may interceptions. Which is GREAT. But he also choses to not make throws and just tuck an run probably more often than NFL teams would like. He's not going to be able to run for 150 yards per game in the NFL. And with the game speed faster and the windows tighter his decision making has to be quicker.

He improved significantly in that respect this season. But there were still some times he probably had guys open and he chose to be a bit more hesitant and hold the ball.

Obviously he can escape the pocket. His accuracy, even last year, is very good (he doesn't miss guys very often). His arm strength is good enough. Can he consistently make the split-second decisions a great QB is required to make time and time again in the NFL? The great QBs often know where they are going with the ball before it is snapped or see the windows opening before they actually open. Once they see it they let the ball fly without hesitation.

Caleb Williams was pretty elite last year. I think losing Jordan Addison hurt him a god bit. JD having 2 first round receivers obviously helps as well

After the Bama game I posted that Jayden will be the No.1 pick.
Board proceeded to laugh me out the chat.
Nevertheless.

Jayden is gonna shred this draft process to pieces.

He is 100% correct. Would you pass up on JD5 if you needed a QB in the draft. Hell no !

How is he gonna be a steal when he's gonna go top 10

Great clip. A shame Herbstreit had to put up with that douchebag next to him.

I would say Pat Mahomes was a steal at pick #10

He meant relevant to other qb’s available in the draft.

I’ve been saying for weeks that JD should be #1. Anyone who passes on him will regret it. He is as good a pick as Joe Burrow, and that’s saying a lot.

He is a hell of a lot more accurate passer than I remember Lamar Jackson being in college, and Lamar is doing pretty ok in the NFL.
