I agree that the time is limited. there are other quality candidates out there, but our options may dwindle the longer we go. i'd say Lane needs to pull the trigger in 2, maybe 3 weeks.
btw, I do have faith that this stuff is communicating with the agents of other OC candidates during this process.

So true. LSU is going to have some players. I'm not worried about that at all. But LSU has the opportunity to hire an OC whose system will draw even more recruits. I just think about all the talent Les was able to bring in even though his offenses were the football equivalent of a taco shell with nothing in it. What happens when that shell has some meat and cheese in it? Lettuce even?
We just need better tacos. It's really that simple.

With any OC hire you have to be able to adapt to the players you have...... Kiffen had a ton of talent to work with this f you really look at it.....

Almost all college coaches are contracted through signing day. Recall that was Chief's problem leaving for A&M before his contract was up, triggering a buyout obligation.
If we are looking to hire someone who is under contract, we will probably have to wait until then.
