If holding is called on Bama, we might still be playing in OT.

Well him saying "good try little buddy", would sound condescending.

Yea, 3 on one play too. Bo literally went right at the DE and just fricking grabbed him. No effort to actually block. Also, how can Bama commit 3 personal fouls to LSU's 1 and they be offsetting?

If those numbers are accurate, that's astounding. There is no way the SEC office could look at that and not agree that there refs are showing bias.
The question then becomes is it intentional or unintentional?
Is the SEC protecting its bell cow or are these refs falling victim to preconceived notions about Bama?
I believe that it's unintentional because the SEC becoming a one team league helps no one. I think the refs have a preconceived notion that Bama is just that good AND that Bama dominates guys to the point that it's hard to see the holds sometimes. In order for a ref to see holding, the defensive player has to create separation to show the the jersey is being grabbed. I think against most teams, the separation never occurs and the refs never see the hold.

You guys are assuming LSU would have gotten 3 points to get to OT?
Posted on 7/28/17 at 12:14 pm to LSUTigKyl
If the TD isn't scored, the defense might have had a little more pep in their step and that FG may never have occurred.

You are deluding yourself. As the game wore on Bama was beating down our defense and bottling up our offense. If we played five quarters we would have lost by 30.

Refs go blind when Bama has the ball.

on the other hand, we were going nowhere that night with etling.

All 3 would have made the tackle if weren't for the grabbing. This stuff needs to be called but then again it should never come down to (1) play. Bama will always get the benefit of the doubt when we let the refs decide a game. LSU needs to just out wit and dominate the game so that there is no doubt.

With the score still 0-0 cause there's no way in hell Ensminger was putting up points on that D.

I have a question that I don't know was answered. If you have a personal foul called during a play and offsetting fouls after the play, does that negate the one called during the play?
Just thought I'd ask since a Bama game discussion has ensued.

shite like this is why I am done with even worrying about the Alabama game. Until our coaches players decide to retaliate we will never beat them. How do you say retaliate? Take out knees. Intentional late hits on the QB. Take a shot on a ref or coach on the sideline when the opportunity presents itself. It is one thing to get beat by a better team and most years we have. But a few times we have been royally screwed when the game is tight at it always happens against the same team in the most obvious way. We can't get a fair shake in officiating so we should retaliate the only way possible, get dirty.
I will get down voted and called a a-hole. I don't care, something needs to be done that will bring attention to this issue.

Well, we would still have to get FG. But how can you miss THREE holds in one play!
NEVER MIND RETORICAL!

Your response to "unfair officiating" is to hurt the players on the other team?
You sound like a really mature individual.
According to your logic, if you go interview for job after job and every time they choose to hire a minority instead of you even though you are just as qualified then your solution would be to beat the shite out of the minority being interviewed at the next job and possibly even beat the shite out of the interviewer.
It's not Bama's fault that the refs don't call them for holding. You shouldn't hurt their players and risk ruining those kids livelihoods because you perceive the officiating to be unfair. You also shouldn't take shots at the officials because that won't help you get any calls and it will most definitely get your players suspended.
Again just to sum up your solution: possibly ruin the careers of opposing players by injury AND possibly ruin the careers of our players by getting them suspended and labeled as dirty players. And in the end, the calls don't change.
Sounds like a logical strategy.
