Why is it that we cant find someone to kick the ball to the damn endzone?

Go steal a soccer goalie is my answer for all of our kicking stuff. I mean they are awesome at place kicking(they aim for peoples heads instead of huge uprights), They can punt the ball forever, and a kickoff essentially is the same as a goal kick. I know a soccer ball and football have differences and such but I think it would still be better.

The key to kick offs, imo, is the hang time. If Jasper kicks it inside the 5 with good hang time, that is better than 2 yds deep with shitty hang time. Unless someone can kick it out of the back of the endzone, I'm happy with what Jasper did Saturday.

and our kickoff coverage was good so again I dont mind the shorter kick.

shorter is relative.... all Jasper's kicks on Saturday were inside the 5, mostly on about the 1 or 2 yard line, which IMO is perfect. Last year we were lucky if he kicked it inside the 10.

I'd rather find a punter who can kick the damn ball past the line of scrimmage.

Much improved from last year for Jasper. He consistently put the ball inside the 5. Last year we were lucky to get the ball inside the 10.
