Dominoes are starting to fall.
Miller seemed like the #1 choice for NC St. fans. I can't think they didn't offer him the job before Keatts agreed to come on board, so you have to think he turned it down.
Mizzou and NC State pounced immediately after their targets' seasons ended. Musselman is the only guy purportedly on LSU's radar who is done. No word from him yet, but you would have to think Cal is a player there.
Illinois and Indiana are still out there, as is Washington. Is LSU going head to head with any of them for a potential new coach? Or is smokin' Joe just waiting for Kermit to finish up so he can quickly run him up to the podium and get back to hitting balls at the range?

Could be a good hire, but I don't see what sets him apart from 20 other mid major coaches.

Indiana is going to make Alford turn them down. They may not get him, but they're going to try.

Keatts is a damn good coach, I'm glad LSU didn't hire him. He is going to be a good one. He's a much, much better coach than Crean.
