As much as I dislike the morning games, there's something to be said for having the rest of your Saturday afternoon to do other things.

um you have 46 other saturdays a year to do something else.

The "we are LSU, therefore we deserve night games" argument makes us sound as pretentious as Notre Dame.

Disagree, its part of what makes the SEC and college football great and different in general. Part of the tradition of LSU football is the night game in Tiger Stadium. You're not only robbing the fans, you're robbing the kids on the field of the experience, on both teams.

I know its not the end of the world or anything, but I'd really like to see each school have the right to invoke a "tradition" clause if/when needed. Moo State gets their cowbells, Bama could keep the UT game under conf realignment, Auburn keeps their refs, and Ole Miss gets to hang meaningless banners.

If the game is in the morning, don't blame Alleva. It is not his fault.

2) LSU's membership in the SEC has many privileges. It is a very lucrative deal for all involved. The occasional morning game is just one of the "you have to take the bad with the good" situations. Therefore, don't call for LSU to give the bird to the league. It sucks, but so does life sometimes. Deal with it. It isn't worth it on any level for LSU to tell the league to go frick itself because it tells LSU to play in the morning.

3) The SEC doesn't care that your tailgate is going to be messed up with the early start, therefore don't bombard them with letters and emails to that effect. Don't make the fanbase look like idiots.

4) Try to handle this with class. The "we are LSU, therefore we deserve night games" argument makes us sound as pretentious as Notre Dame. Nobody wants that.

Have fun and see you early on the morning of October 1 in Tiger Stadium

This post actually makes me want to

I say everybody should send a messgae and boycott either all or part of the UK game.

BTW, a really strong AD would put together a tean full of lawyers and go after the S.E.C. to make them renegotiate the TV contract to allow some exceptiona and exemptions for teams that play at night.
