don't want to see Fournette get more than 25 touches a game. Kid will be worn down by his JR if we don't manage him. We have other good backs.

I think an average of 18-19 a game over his career is a good amount. What they need to do, is take him off of Kick returns, and have him go out to catch passes. In his first 5 games, he had 5 for 86. We haven't thrown one to him in the past 2 games. At first they were just ridiculously under-utilizing him in the run game, and over utilizing him in the return games. Now they are under utilizing him in the pass game.

Watching a Cam offense with Tomlinson, Sproles, Brown, and Rice, how do we not have an RB getting at least 3 looks a game? This could be an easy completion for the QBs. It's not required to be a screen pass either.

That's what I figured ... just another blowhard. On here griping about the team and how you wouldn't be wasting any more time watching them, and then when they show signs of improvement, you suddenly have interest.

Isn't that what the Rant is about? For people, like me and you, to rant? You would prefer that I not rant or blowhard? Isn't this what makes the rant what it is? A real blowhard is one who wants his own opinion and rejects others?

Whether or not he gets drafter will depend mostly on what his measurables turn out to be. If he's fast and strong, the NFL won't give a damn about his college YPC.

Yep. A lot of RBs, ypc is deceitful. Check out what Magee was finally able to do after Fournette pounder the rock and paved the way. Same thing he did behind Hill last year.

Also, NFL doesn't care about YPC. If it did, Sankey wouldn't have been the first of the board last year. Le'veon Bell (who was the 2nd RB off the board in 2013 draft) averaged 4.9 ypc and carried the ball 382 times his last year.

Fournette needs to carry the ball at least 20 times this game. He has shown he has grown up since the Wisconsin game. He can be a version of Jeremy Hill.

If he doesn't carry it 20 plus times, it means LSU had gotten behind quickly and started passing more, and that doesn't bode well

The passing game sucks somewhat... But he doesn't need 20 carries against UK... Give me a balanced rushing attack with Hilliard and Magee.
