You are right and wrong at the same time. If it wasn't for the tie against UGA and the cancelled game against Bama then LSU would have had a pretty good chance to win the SEC West.

the tie vs georgia was our fault....

No doubt it was the team's fault that they didn't score more runs earlier in the game, but it isn't their fault that the game had to end after the 13th.

PM whining about SOS and RPI, scheduling Purdue and Va Tech when they are regional teams is not the problem, it's scheduling UNO twice, and three or four SWAC schools on top of that. Schedule a home and home with ULL

In state schools aren't for weekend series. And that doesn't fix your midweek problem.

I wouldn't mind doing ULL in 2-3 midweek games. Just one per week for a few weeks in a row. 1 there 2 here then the opposite the next year.

We need a SEC/ACC challenge early on in the year. Of course if we drew Va Tech, UNC, NCST, or Clemson it wouldnt of really helped this year.

PAC12 and Big Ten do it.

Just saying, midweek options are limited. Would like to see east texas considered for midweek. We would prob have to do 1 to 1 with them, not sure if lsu wants to do that

Rice or Houston could make it worth their while by stopping in Lafayette and Baton Rouge on one trip for an early midweek against one and weekend series against the other.

2015 should be a model for what we do every season. The other two seasons everyone but Maryland blah. I'm still surprised we got away with playing less than the max amount of home games next year.
