Is this the rare case where the young man would have been drafted higher as a junior, instead 107th as a rehabbing senior (32 spots behind Duke Riley)?

Beckwith made the right choice of staying another year. He was a beast for us in the middle, but injuries happen. The only thing that hindered his stock besides injury was his ability to drop in coverage. That's why guys like debo kwon and duke had a little higher stock than him. He was one of my favorite linebackers to come through LSU and really hope he does well.

Beckwith would've definitely be a 2nd rounder or better had he not been hurt.
He would've run VERY well at the combine for his size. Great athlete for a big arse thumper MLB.
I'll never forget him at the UA AA game in HS chasing down RB's sideline to sideline despite having bad angles. I knew he'd be a good one.
ETA:
Then Chavis put him at DE to start his career, which stunted his development at the position. This basically allowed Welter to start in front of him. Had he been a MLB from Day 1, we might have been Welterless a lot earlier.

Come on now. Welter was what this team needed - a motor guy, on the field coach, smart leader...

He reminded me of Kelvin Shepard hell of a tackler but couldn't cover even though he had elite speed for a LB

If he's healthy, he'll play. Helluva player.
