As long as he is 100% by September I totally fine with him sitting out the spring.

I don't know. He is a senior though and very valuable.. Miles does like to be safe.

If he is ready by the fall I'm not bothered.

Just hope it doesn't turn out he needs a minor operation and they waited this long

Just basically said he's not back yet and no one is saying why.

Let me state this loud and clear. #52 does NOT need spring football. Come game 1, Beck will be anchoring the middle of the defense. Dude does not need to risk it to get spring reps. He needs to be in the film room with Aranda, but there is no need for him to risk anything with that knee.

I agree completely. Just hoping there is no cause for concern for what damage has already been done to the knee.

I think they're just being cautious. It's a high risk low reward situation. I'd sit him even if the knee was 100%. As long as he is at practice watching the system and doing film study, I don't care if he takes a single rep.

I can only up vote once but if I could, I would give you a hundred more.

That's worthy of an up vote!
Well said.

Agree, if anything this helps get someone else better prepared.

Miles said himself that if they were in mid season, he would probably be playing.

I wouldn't mind him sitting all of spring. The same goes for Fournette.

Also Beckwith has been here long enough to know how to get ready for the fall.
It seems like spring performances aren't that crucial to Miles in determining playing time for the coming season anyway.

I hope he doesn't play anymore this spring. He just needs to be in the film room with Aranda.

Anything that's not reconstructive surgery would be fine.
