When Nick Saban initially turned down Bama, I was thinking Paul Johnson would be a nice fallback...I was probably the only Bama fan thinkin' that though...

While I don't see LSU boosters or fans wanting Johnson, I think it could be scary what kind of offense he could run with LSU (or Bama) athletes. People just remember him for his triple option offenses he ran at Georgia Southern, Navy, and now at Tech. You're restricted in many ways with the athletes you can attract to those schools, so a disciplined offense is a must. But people forget that he was the offensive coordinator at Hawaii for 7 or 8 years and they threw the ball a lot out of that offense. And when he was the OC at Georgia Southern under Erk Russell when he first came to the college scene, they threw it a lot then too 'cause they had a QB (Tracy Ham) that could wing it. While he's a run first guy, when he's got the talent at QB to throw it, he'll throw it...
