I would guess Kelly is still riled some about the no call hit on his Heisman candidate QB Jayden Daniels in the end zone. A clear personal foul with the official looking right at the play and it was a hard hit. Probably won’t be his only conversation with them. This SEC group desperately needs counseling by coaches before the games are played.

I think you should go talk to them. You claim to have to correct engineers, so why not share your wisdom with the officials?

Where did you hear this?

I’m referring to the “he always does” part.

An old L.Miles story re SEC refs, speaking at a TAF luncheon: "Coming from the Big 12, I spoke to the League office twice a year, pre season about any new rules, post season evaluating the refs. Here at LSU I am speaking to the League office weekly, and not over ticky tack calls, I'm talking about several flat out blown calls / non calls. " This is not a new problem.

When engineers screw up the drawings or measurements on blueprints for plumbing that’s my job, the job of a “master plumber” to point out and that’s precisely what we are called, “master plumbers”.Can I help you with anything else, bad bowel movement when using the toilet?

What? You haven’t watched LSU players and coaches on the field before the games? Stupid question if you have!

Kelly needs to pull a Coach Yoast.

You call this game fair, or I'm going to the papers. I don't care if I go down with you. But before God, I swear I'll see every last one of you thrown in jail.

At almost every level from high school on up (Not sure about NFL) the officials meet with both coaches before the game.

Yeah you can help me. I need to completely redo a bathroom. I could use a "master plumber." Will 3.50 an hour work for you?

Let’s hope it’s a longer chat than usual.

Engineers design so this is not new. I have to meet with engineers weekly to go over the design issues whether its field conditions or construability. Why are you tipping your cap to this? As you said thats your job its not that you are smarter than an engineer its that you are doing your job to point out a conflict or issue in a plan set. Which EVERYONE in construction does.

I think a discussion in advance could be a good thing to do....it depends on a lot of factors though and could help or hurt depending on circumstances

It’s $350.00 an hour on new construction and remodels. You misplaced a decimal point.

If you are anything in real life like you are on here, I wouldn't pay you $350 an hour to do a damn thing. I would be surprised if you know how to tie your own shoes.

Not everyone does Einstein. Especially now after Covid, it’s worse, the quality and detail is lacking which is occurring everywhere in every trade.

Yes I have.

Your thread title implies that he’ll have a “closed door” talk to SEC officials prior to the game.

But thank you for pointing out that he’ll do what he does prior to every game.

There you go again getting your panties in a wad simply because someone asked a question.

Calm down.

Exactly. He made it sound like it was some top secret meeting.

I really don’t have anything against the guy but he’s trying real hard to make it seem like he’s some “all knowing insider” and then flips out if you ask him about his thread title.
